This expert system predicts Investment Decision (ID) from Annual Revenue Growth (ARG), Burn Rate (BR), Customer Churn Rate (CCR), and Gross Margin (GM). It does so using three knowledge bases, and compares their advice.
All knowledge bases contain the same rules. However, their fuzzy sets are different. The first contains nonsensical dummy fuzzy sets. The second contains sensible fuzzy sets which were evolved from these. Remarkably, the genetic algorithm which did so was able to create reasonable sets from the training data alone. Run the system in the same way as the others I have linked to. Use the input fields to enter new values. Alternatively, use the "Load Preset" buttons to load preset scenarios.
Once you have input your values, press the Submit button. This will send back a new page with estimates for the output variable Investment Decision, using my rules and the dummy, evolved, and hand-crafted fuzzy sets.
Please note that there may be a short delay. The system generates explanations of its reasoning, and these contain a lot of graphs. Plotting them takes a little time.
